A police report has been lodged over the deadly landslide in Tanjung Bungah, Penang, so that a probe over alleged “professional negligence” by the developer can commence as soon as possible, said state executive councillor Chow Kon Yeow.
The “work-site” accident, as decribed by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, occurred on Oct 21, killing 11 people.
Lim has vowed to investigate the incident thoroughly by forming a state commission of inquiry.
