Perlis BN chairperson Shahidan Kassim has called on Azlan Man, who was sworn in as Perlis menteri besar this morning, to be sacked with immediate effect.
Speaking at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur, he said Azlan should not have accepted the appointment, claiming that he did not have the support of the majority of the assemblypersons in the Perlis assembly.
Shahidan added he, as the state Umno chief, had sacked Azlan from the party, and he is awaiting the central party leadership to follow up on this.
