In light of the special task force into the forex scandal PKR’s Bayan Baru MP Sim Tze Tzin has called for a Royal Commission of Inquiry to be established for the 1MDB scandal as well.
He said high powered individuals such as former Bank Negara Malaysia governor Zeti Akhtar Aziz and former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief Abu Kassim Mohamed could be involved in the RCI and by establishing an RCI, the government could use the findings to claim assets and funds currently frozen abroad.
