Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced that the government will provide RM5,000 cash to families who lost loved ones in the recent floods in Kedah.

During his official working visit to Kedah today, he also said that affected individuals from the Yan and Merbok districts will receive RM500 each.

Putrajaya will further allocate RM75 million to rebuild damaged infrastructure in these districts, government-owned newswire Bernama reported today.
