Unlike Vision 2020, the Shared Prosperity Vision (SPV) 2030 will be better able to arrest corruption that has impeded the country’s growth the past 15 years, said Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today.
The prime minister said SPV 2030 has legal measures to ensure no crony gets government contracts and that those who do receive them will be punished in law.
He said this time around, if people want a contract, they have to show their ability to manage it.
