Former Penang deputy chief minister P Ramasamy would be better off keeping quiet rather than making statements that could mislead the people, said Umno vice-president Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail.

The Pahang menteri besar said Ramasamy was not qualified to talk about political betrayals because he himself left DAP and established a new party after being dropped as a candidate.

“After examining the statement, I am of the view that Ramasamy is better off keeping quiet and enjoying retirement rather than commenting on the issue of betrayal because he betrayed his party when he announced his exit from DAP on Aug 10, 2023," he said.
