#KiniNews: Ramasamy quits DAP, trains guns on 'emperor'; Ramasamy was not 'sincere'- Loke

[KiniNews] DAP veteran P Ramasamy has resigned from the party, he cited unhappiness with the party, in particular due to an “emperor” who he said was the cause of a crisis in Penang DAP.

Ramasamy also reiterated claims that a political purge was carried out in Penang DAP, in an attempt to sideline those who were perceived to be supporting caretaker chief minister Chow Kon Yeow.

Meanwhile, Loke has dubbed Ramasamy as an "insincere" opportunist who used the party for his own gain.

He said this is because Ramasamy quit DAP less than two weeks after the incumbent Perai assemblyperson was exempted from the party's candidates list for the state polls.

"Did he use the party for positions all this while? Now that he is not given any (seats), he is quitting. To me, this reeks of insincerity," he said.
