Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who has come under heavy criticism for his latest controversial remark against Malaysian Indians, has now singled out former Penang deputy chief minister P Ramasamy as racist.

After wishing Hindus in Malaysia a ‘Happy Ponggal’ on X, the former premier wrote a new post, labelling Ramasamy as a racist for questioning why there was no Indian minister in the latest cabinet reshuffle.
