Dewan Rakyat speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia denied receiving instructions from BN with regard to deferring the debate on the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965 (Act 355) amendments. He said he does not care what people say even the BN component leaders for what matters to him was what he said and what he does. He stressed that he is not one for political mileage.
