Special prayers were held to cleanse Sri Muneswarar Kalyamman temple after DBKL officers went into the premises with shoes on and removed deities from altars without observing religious rituals. The devotees also prayed for strength in their attempt to acquire the land the temple's built on as well as the premises itself free from demolition - a cause supported by PKR, MIC and even one Muslim man KiniTV spoke to.
