The last respects for former Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud was held in a special hall of the National Mosque this morning.

Earlier, special prayers were led by the Grand Imam of the National Mosque, Ehsan Mohd Hosni Iman.

Taib's body will be taken to the Subang Air Base at 1pm to be flown to Kuching for the last state-level tribute session.
