Due to conflicting reports on social media regarding the issue of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s release date from prison, the Prisons Department issued a statement on Sunday saying that he could be released as early as June 8 as June 9 and June 10 are weekends. His actual release date is June 10.
