Activist group Eliminating Deaths and Abuse in Custody Together (Edict) has urged the government to reconsider opening temporary prisons to hold movement control order offenders.
The group said, temporary prisons are a waste of taxpayer funds besides possibly allowing the spread of Covid-19.
