A DAP lawmaker today called for a probe against PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang over the latter's alleged admission of a plot to topple the government.

RSN Rayer (Harapan-Jelutong) in his Budget 2023 debate called on Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail to investigate Hadi's reported remarks that he argued were a penal code offence under activities detrimental to parliamentary democracy.

Having gone through a series of political turmoil that led to the last general election, Rayer said the present government was formed in line with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong's decree for political stability.
