PUBLIC is a pop trio from Cincinnati, Ohio. The band consists of their Lead Singer/Guitarist - John Vaughn, Bass/Backup Vocals - Matthew Alvarado, and Drums/Backup Vocals – Ben Lapps. The three met at Ohio high school, where they played in their school’s jazz band together. PUBLIC is inspired by indie, rock and alternative artists. The band takes a lot of pride in being an ‘unsigned’ band. The band has developed an amazing fanbase in just a short time with their high-energy live shows and through their self-released pop EP’s. Their most recent tour was ‘Trendsetter Tour’ in where they stopped at eight colleges. They have also toured with big alt-rock artists such as Walk the Moon, Twenty-One Pilots, and Neon Trees.
