Pulau Ketam International Art Festival 2016

Art from around the world came to Pulau Ketam recently. It was the Pulau Ketam International Art Festival. Featuring an amazing 120 artists from 17 countries over a period from November 20, 2016 till January 4, 2017. Art lovers will be surprised to see the small fishing island filled with works of art ranging from paintings to sculptures and art installations. Making Pulau Ketam a haven for the art scene like never before. This event is organized by several art associations including the Pulau Ketam Art Society in its efforts to not only promote the love of art but also cultural tourism to the famous island. This video takes you on a close-up tour of some of the interesting exhibits... but there's more to capture your eye's attention when you visit the island yourself! For example, the many buildings in town that are colourfully coordinated to reflect contemporary design and the many walls that are creatively decorated with interesting murals that are all great for selfies!
Today, Pulau Ketam is not just about its age old cottage fishing industry, it's now a must-do destination for the modern day adventurer!
