Click to Subscribe! ► - Studded, Spiked, Plugged in and Ready! Here are the electronic parts I have used in building this machine: Venom 3s Lipo (5000mah - 50c), Tekin RX8 Gen 2 1/8th scale ESC, Tekin T8 1700kv Brushless Motor, Savox High Torque Servo, and a Completely Amazing Art Attack Snow Mobile Kit! It works so much better then I originally hoped for - but I have to figure out the clicking sound. I ALREADY checked the pinion and spool gear - I am wondering if its the studs I put on the track. They may be giving some resonance on the drive cog/pulley. I hope this gives some folks out there a better look at the Art Attack snowmobile. I have wondered about it for such a long time - and truly am happy to investigate this rig.
I have a feeling it is about to become VERY POPULAR! Hah :) I have been waiting for a decent sled for many, many years..
In total, I have spent approximately $1250 CDN to get this rig up and going - Including battery. That is an approximation that does not cover the cost of shipping. In USD you can get an entire kit and electronics for Much Less - my CDN $ conversion rates to USD $ are terrible at the moment.
I think its going to be worth it though, when I see this machine booting around!
Now I need a second one :)
A Special thanks to my friend, and fellow RC Mechanic, David G for starting this project with me! I hope you love it as much as I do!
