I have been waiting for this day since I purchased this skid steer loader 6 months ago! Finally, I have an opportunity to clear some snow (only about 7 inches on the ground) via radio-controlled FULL SiZE Skid Steer Loader - a CAT242D to be specific. I have a Torc Robotics Radio Control system installed by the factory to give me full RC capability. I find this a useful add-on for me as I have a couple of slipped discs in my back - and it causes me pain when I get bounced around too much! Some folks may say it is more fun to operate a skid steer from the inside - and that maybe true for those peeps. But, I find that there is certainly a new element of dynamic, and technical ability gained when you are able operate it from outside of the machine as well. What a beast.. this machine weighs 8000lbs. It runs on diesel (of course), and is in every way a "regular machine". Folks that are in dangerous situations, or have an injury are still able to operate using this system.. too cool.
I have many other videos about running my 242d skid steer, and encourage you to see them. I purchased this machine in the spring time, and was able to have quite a bit of fun with it during the summer months.
