I needed to get out and move around and it was a great time ! Thankfully my beautiful wife Jem was there to give me a hand with filming.. and even an appearance by our boy, Maurice was made! I really do enjoy rock crawling, and though these two truck are setup completely different.. they both offer they challenges and differences on a course like this. Remember, it's all about how you build your rigs.. and what they are specifically designed for. This is why our "TTC" videos are so dynamic.. as the trucks are put through rigorous tests that are designed to make them work! More info on TTC events on our channel playlists.
A lot of viewers ask for information about the rigs I run.. and as mentioned in the video I would post links and info for you to discover MORE about these specific rigs to make your search easier!
Information about the Vaterra Ascender:
"In the world of scale RC off-road trucks, ‘close enough’ just won’t cut it. Bodies must look authentic and the chassis has to be able handle anything a full-scale truck could. This 1/10-scale kit gives you the hardware necessary to build a rugged RC version of a lifted Chevrolet K-5 Blazer that delivers all that and more. At the heart of its incredibly scale performance is the Vaterra® Ascender™ chassis. This innovative platform takes scaler technology to new heights with features like stamped-steel ladder frames, an adjustable wheelbase, a metal gear transmission and one of the most capable off-road suspensions available."
