That’s right, guys, the chefs at Red Lobster are putting their own spin on “chicken and waffles” and bringing us “Crispy Lobster and Waffles” to their seafood restaurants all around the country. And if you’re a fan of their famous Cheddar Bay biscuits, then prepare for your mouth to start watering because the waffles are made out of the same batter.
A rep for Red Lobster explained that the Cheddar Bay Biscuit waffles are topped with QUOTE, “a crispy, buttermilk-battered and fried Maine lobster tail and finished off with a drizzle of maple syrup.”
Not sure how I feel about the flavor combo of cheddar and maple syrup, so I’d probably go with a healthy drizzle of butter instead. But that’s just me.
The Crispy Lobster and Waffles have been available since yesterday, March 26th, and have been added as part of Red Lobster’s “Lobsterfest” promotion. There’s no official end day to the promotion, but the Lobster and Waffles will only be available for a limited time. So if this sounds like the best thing that’s happened to you since Lobster mac and cheese, get yourself to a Red Lobster near you ASAP.
