Kampung Baru Kuala Bikam farmers, who risked losing their farmland, has gotten the attention of the Perak Mentri Besar Ahmad Faizal Azumu.
The farmers were plagued with uncertainty as State GLC, Mentri Besar Incorporated, were going to mine sand over the 76.9ha of farmland.
Sungkai assemblyman A. Sivanesan said the Mentri Besar has directed officers from Tapah Land Office to visit the village and measure the farmland within the 76.9ha.
