Seputeh MP Teresa Kok and a small group of residents held a press conference across the street from a community centre today in protest of a plan for the development of affordable housing at the location.
Teresa Kok said that the land was meant for public facilities under the Kuala Lumpur city development control plan and objected against Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) selling that plot of land to a private developer to build Federal Territories Affordable Housing (Rumawip).
