Supporters of Najib Abdul Razak have raised RM490,000 from a donation campaign to help fund former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak's legal fees.
Former Federal Territories Umno Youth chief Mohd Razlan Muhammad Rafii, who is coordinating the Tabung Solidariti Najib, said that they had collected RM490,000 which would be handed to Najib's representative at the Jalan Duta court.
Najib was on Wednesday charged with the alleged misappropriation of RM42 million in state-owned SRC International Sdn Bhd funds.
He was released on an RM1 million bail.
He had on the same day paid RM500,000 in cash and must pay the remaining RM500,000 today.
