Supporters of former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak have started a fund to provide him financial support.
Former Federal Territories Umno Youth chief Mohd Razlan Rafii said the fund was in response to Najib being unable to pay the full amount of his bail.
"We want to give moral and financial support to Najib... Najib can only pay RM500,000 and to fund the balance, he has to surrender his house title deed as security.
"Therefore, we want to offer our moral and financial support to him," he was quoted as saying.
Razlan is the spokesperson for the group of supporters, who call themselves "Solidariti Bersama Datuk Najib".
