It’s always great when our favorite celebrities are on the cover of magazines because we all know celebs love spilling the tea to magazines! Sabrina Carpenter is on the cover of Seventeen magazine for the month of August and September and basically said she’s changed and she wants everyone to know it. Sabrina spilled about starring on Girl Meets World and releasing two pop albums and what it’s been like to break out of the Disney mold. Sabrina is fully ready to embrace and take on new more dramatic roles, which she will be doing when she appears opposite Amanda Stenberg & KJ Apa in the upcoming Black Lives Matter inspired drama The Hate U Give. But that’s not all she talked about. Sabrina also dished on her current relationships with her Girl Meets World co-stars. From the sounds of it, she’s still incredibly close with Corey Fogelmanis. She said in the interview QUOTE “Corey has been a big supporter in my life,” He’s so funny and smart. And he’s a great friend.” Whoa, did she just say the F word?! I mean I can’t lie when I say a lot of us thought they were def more than friends. However, she says their relationship was QUOTE “never [more than that].” Nope, no Corbrina! “Oh, my God — I don’t know how many times I’ve had to say that,” The thing is, when you have a best friend like that and you’re so comfortable with them, you’ll hug them, you’ll jump on their back, you’ll have sleepovers. But we’re really just friends…” So there you have it guys, they’re JUST FRIENDS. Sabrina also talked about her new upcoming third album titled Singular. Sabrina admitted she’s going deeper and more intimate with her lyrics in the upcoming album and said QUOTE “When I turned 18, [music execs] would say things like, ‘People will take you seriously a lot quicker if you just get out there with the mature content.’ “But I felt that I shouldn’t write about that stuff just because I’m 18; I need to do it if I’m actually going through it—and I was never that kid who was doing the [more mature] personal life stuff. I love love, I love getting in depth about it, and I experience all the normal 19-year-old feelings, but I wanted to be cautious.” Carpenter also revealed anxiety is probably one of her biggest struggles but she’s working through it.
