We’re starting to see Bella like we never have before.
Bella Hadid stuns on the cover of Porter’s magazine going makeup free without a bra, while inside she gets candid about her personal life. She got right to it, immediately speaking on her relationship status saying, “I’m really focusing on myself, and my work, and just being the best that I can be. I’m not really worried about what guys think about me, I’m just trying to be a woman!” I love when someone can step back and focus on themselves for a second.
The part about fame she isn’t into however is the part of actually being famous. On being recognized said “It gets really overwhelming. You feel like really overexposed and you don’t want to see anybody… I just want to be in my apartment alone and kind of retreat and be centred again.”
She also confessed she’s a very sensitive person and said she used to get very nervous doing interviews but explained she’s gotten more used to being around people.
And if you didn’t already know, Bella was diagnosed with Lyme disease back in 2012 which continues to be an uphill battle. She said “I couldn’t get out of bed for six days. And my brain would get all foggy, and I couldn’t see. That was the hardest time of my life.”
That is actually terrifying and I hope she has it more so under control.
She also opened up about her Muslim roots saying that she is proud of her religion (because why wouldn't she be?): she said "[My father Mohamed Hadid] was always religious, and he always prayed with us." she said "I am proud to be a Muslim."
Props to bella for being so candid about literally everything in her life. I do want to know what you think about all of the above so let’s chat in the comment section below, and subscribe to our channel. I’m Ryland Adams, I’ll see you soon!
