How Bella Hadid Is Moving On From The Weeknd & Why She Feels Betrayed By Selena Gomez

Bella spent some quality time with Gigi and their mom Yolanda for her birthday and got some new ink. She put her body art in the hands of famed tattoo artist, JonBoy for a dainty pair of angel wings on both ankles and while JonBoy shared a photo of his work on instagram with a dove emoji, many are guessing that Bella’s new ink was inspired by the fact that she became a Victoria’s Secret Angel this year.
That same day, Bella dined out with her mom to celebrate her birthday. She shared a sweet throwback photo on instagram to honor mama Yolanda with the caption - “Today marks the day that our beautiful angel, my best friend and mother was brought into this world! Thank you for EVERYTHING!!!!!! Nobody loves you more than me! Happy birthday sweet mama.”
The sweet birthday message was quite the opposite of another post she shared recently popping her middle finger to the camera after news broke about her ex boyfriend macking on Selena Gomez. Selena and the Weeknd were spotted recently sucking each other’s faces off just months after his relationship ended with Bella. Sources allegedly close to Bella told TMZ that she feels betrayed that the hookup happened so shortly after their 18-month relationship and that a heads up would have been appreciated. Especially because Bella and Gigi were apparently part of Selena’s support system when she was dealing with her personal health struggles.
However another source reported that Selena doesn’t feel guilty about her romance with the Weeknd at all. Although Bella and Selena have mutual friends, they’ve never been close so Selena didn’t feel it was necessary to inform Bella about anything. Despite the lack of communication, a source told E! that Bella is still very much in love with her ex saying QUOTE - "It really hurt her seeing Selena be all up on her man. She still feels like they have a connection." Apparently Bella was actually the one who called off the relationship but it was only because the long distance became too strenuous with their conflicting work schedules. To make matters even more complicated, apparently this budding romance between Selena and the Weeknd is close to two months old and Selena never mentioned anything to Gigi which is why Gigi and Bella found out about the relationship with the rest of the world when TMZ leaked the photos.
