Bella Hadid Gets Birthday LOVE From Ex-BF The Weeknd!

Bella Hadid and The Weeknd might still be broken up, but that didn't stop him from sending her some birthday love on her 23rd b-day.What’s up? It’s Emile Ennis Jr. here with Clevver News and on Wednesday, Bella Hadid celebrated her 23rd birthday in New York City with her close friends and family.Her sister Gigi, mom Yolanda, and brother Anwar all attended the festivities. Anwar's girlfriend, Dua Lipa, was also there to celebrate Bella.The Hadid clan started the day off by enjoying a meal at Sadelle's and then they headed to Color Me Mine to paint some pottery. Which honestly sounds like my dream birthday. I’m not gonna lie I have spent many of my birthdays at Color Me Mine.Then at night, Bella and her crew went to the swanky NYC spot, Miss Lily's, to continue the celebrations.A source told E! News that they had a "private section" in the back of the restaurant for Bella’s b-day dinner.
The source said quote, “Bella had a low-key night out celebrating her birthday at Miss Lily's in NYC. She was with Gigi, Anwar, Dua Lipa, a few people from her glam team and a handful of her model friends. It was a small group and mainly consisted of her closest girlfriends.”The insider continued on and said quote, “The restaurant's specialty Caribbean cocktails were brought out immediately and the group was drinking for several hours. Bella was in an amazing mood. She looked so happy. Her and Gigi were attached at the hip the entire night and were taking many photos together while smiling and laughing.”While there was some drinking involved it wasn’t a wild night, it was more of a low-key hang where everyone just enjoyed themselves.Again, sounds like a dream. Bella obviously knows how to celebrate a birthday right.Now when it come to The Weeknd, E! News reported that while he wasn’t at the celebrations, he did reach out to Bella on her special day.
The source said quote, “The Weeknd did reach out to Bella during the day to wish her a 'Happy Birthday' and they have been in touch. There is no bad blood between the two and they are on good terms right now. There isn't any chance of them getting back together right now but Bella never wants to have any anger or resentment towards anyone.”And in case you’re like... WHAT?! Bella and the Weeknd aren’t together anymore?! Is love cancelled?I know, there has been a lot of news the last few months, so I understand if you missed that tidbit. They kept their split pretty under the radar.
In August, Bella and The Weeknd called it quits again just about a year after getting back together.
The source added that they have been fighting a lot recently and their schedules just haven’t aligned so they haven’t spent quality time together in months. But there may be some hope for them down the road.So it’s nice to hear that he still reached out to wish her a happy birthday. Maybe one day these two can get back on the same page.I know I still ship them. But The Weeknd certainly wasn’t the only one wishing Bella a happy birthday. Most notably, Kendall Jenner’s birthday wish to her bestie was seen around the world.
Kendall and Bella have been very close for a while now, so Kendall obviously made it a point to publicly wish Bella a happy birthday on her IG story. Like all good best friends would.The video Kendall shared was a very ummm loving snap of Kendall sitting on Bella before leaning in for a kiss. And yes — they actually kissed on the lips!
And fans also sent Bella some birthday love.
