The Weeknd was seen with Bella Hadid and honestly, we should have seen this coming.
It’s been a little over two weeks since we found out that Selena Gomez and The Weeknd, AKA Abel Tesfaye, broke up after almost a whole year of dating. As shocked as we were to hear the news, we couldn’t help but wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that Selena has recently rekindled with former flame Justin Bieber.
We could honestly talk about Selena and Justin’s on and off again relationship for hours, so we’re just going to be focusing on Abel.
Right after the two’s split was announced and Selena was seen bike riding and going to church with JB, Abel was actually spotted at a club dancing with a mystery girl. We were wondering if the mystery girl was just a fling or the real thing, but suddenly Abel was spotted at a completely different person’s house… and she is so not a mystery.
Earlier this week, Abel was spotted leaving Bella Hadid’s New York City apartment and we are feeling all the emotions. Abel and Bella dated on and off from 2015 and 2016 and were so sweet together. Abel started dating Selena months after breaking things off with Bella, but now that he’s a single man again, the ex’s are reportedly hanging out again.
According to E! News, a source revealed that Abel still cares about Bella and that he QUOTE “has expressed to her that he loves her still, and they will always have a real connection.”
After seeing Selena with Justin, it only makes sense that Abel would return to a former flame, too. Although nothing is confirmed, we have a feeling that these two will be making a big return in 2018.
