Selangor caretaker Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari has slammed his Kedah counterpart Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor over the latter's alleged insult of the Selangor ruler.

"Here (Bukit Melawati) is the state's place of origin. Sanusi, don't be rude! Selangorians will teach you a lesson in the state election on Aug 12," Amirudin said in his speech at the Jelajah Madani programme in Bukit Melawati, Selangor, last night.

Amirudin was responding to the remark by Sanusi during a recent Perikatan Nasional (PN) ceramah in Selangor, where he allegedly insulted Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah in choosing the state's menteri besar.
