UM student Wong Yan Ke’s protest against UM vice-chancellor (VC) Abdul Rahim Hashim has clearly ruffled feathers.
After calling for the VC’s resignation at a convocation ceremony at UM last weekend, Wong’s protest has sparked several counter protests, with the latest one organised by the Peninsular Malay Students Association (GPMS).
GPMS president Mohd Alif Anas Md Noor said Wong may have had political backing for his protest against Rahim at the university's graduation ceremony last week.
