Look away, Calvin Harris! Another handsome guy is getting close to Taylor Swift!
Taylor Swift just released a preview for her new “Wildest Dreams” music video, and we spotted the 25-year-old singer getting cozy with actor Scott Eastwood!
Earlier this month, Taylor Swift revealed that her next single will be “Wildest Dreams.” Now, Swifties can look forward to seeing the music video for the song this Sunday!
Taylor posted a video preview to social media last night with the caption “Wildest Dreams music video preview. Full video debuts VMA night. Get ready. #WildestDreamsMusicVideo” Take a look at the preview Taylor shared:
After Taylor posted the video preview on social media, everyone was trying to guess who the guy was in the clip. People on Tumblr started guessing it was Scott Eastwood, and Taylor actually liked their posts, hinting to them that Scott Eastwood actually is in the video!
Then, Scott took to Twitter to confirm the news. The actor, and son of Clint Eastwood, tweeted the video preview along with the caption “Always be swifting. This girl is a damn rockstar. @taylorswift13 #wildestdreamsmusicvideo”
Taylor and Scott in a video together? We can’t wait! It’s pretty clear just from the preview that this video is going to get steamy, and we’re thinking Taylor’s boyfriend Calvin Harris might get a little jealous while watching Scott get close to his girl. But, it is just acting after all, so we think he’ll get over it!
Joseph Kahn, who directed Taylor’s “Blank Space” and “Bad Blood” music videos, just revealed he directed this one as well, so we know it’s going to be epic. From the preview clip, it looks like they’re on a movie set. The clip shows a close-up shot of a movie slate, with the director’s name is G. Musterhausen, which a pseudonym Joseph Kahn uses. You can also see the date on the slate, August 2, 1950. It looks like Taylor is taking us back in time in this video!
Joseph Kahn also revealed on Twitter that the video was filmed in Africa! Seriously, when did Taylor have time to fly to Africa to film this video? We have no idea!
One thing we do know, Scott is the perfect choice for a music video love interest. He joins Taylor’s long list of handsome male music video love interests like Sean O’Pry, Stephen Colletti, Lucas Till and Tyler Hilton. Taylor definitely knows how to pick some dreamy guys.
The “Wildest Dreams” video is set to premiere during the VMAs pre-show this Sunday, August 30, so make sure to mark your calendars!
