A video has surfaced of Selena comforting a fan who was having an anxiety attack at a meet-n-greet and it’s honestly the sweetest thing ever.
The video began circulating on Twitter yesterday but people believe the video may have been taken in the past due to the fact that Selena has long hair in the footage and it is believed to be from her last album release. Regardless of when the video was taken, it is extremely heart warming to see Selena being so nurturing and sweet to her fan who was having a rough time. Story goes that when Selena heard that a fan was having an anxiety attack outside of her meet-n-greet, she quickly rushed out to make her feel safe and calm.
As you may know, Selena has had her own battles with anxiety. In a statement two years ago she told PEOPLE magazine QUOTE - “...around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways. I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”
I love the fact that Selena did this because you can imagine how big that crowd must have been and how close people were probably sandwiched together waiting so for someone with anxiety that’s really rough. So it was really cool of Selena to comfort her like that. What do you guys think about Selena calming down her fan? Sound off in the comment section below. Thanks for watching!
