Niall Horan celebrated One Direction’s final performance before the band’s hiatus as he was spotted leaving the X Factor UK after party with his potential new lady by his side…
For being “just friends”, Selena Gomez sure is rackin’ up those best friend of the year points, as she also supported Niall backstage during the show’s taping… yeah, we’re onto you, girl!
One Direction kicked off their farewell performance before embarking on their hiatus at the place where it all began… the X Factor stage. The show’s finale is always an emotional time, but especially this year, knowing it would be the band’s final appearance before their break, Niall Horan needed all the support he could get.
Selena Gomez was spotted backstage during the show’s taping earlier in the day yesterday snapping pics with fans, and even Instagrammed a photo of her and Louis Tomlinson’s sister Lottie, who filled in for her glam squad doing her hair and makeup for the evening.
But it wasn’t until later in the evening when the two were spotted together leaving the show’s after party at the Edition Hotel in London. They were both dressed to the nines, Niall in a navy blue checkered suit and Selena in a green satin gown, but many fans speculated that the oversized coat she was donning belonged to a certain Irish lad.
And seeing that Selena just performed a Jingle Ball show on Friday, and has to be back for another show on Wednesday, visiting her “friend” in London seemed to be the sole purpose of her international travels, but we’ll let you guys be the judges of that… Judging by the cold hard facts, do you guys think Selena and Niall are taking their “platonic” relationship to the next level?
