Seven factories and one goods storage facility were destroyed, while two more were badly damaged in a fire at the Budiman Industrial Area, Cheras early this morning.

The director of the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM), Wan Md Razali Wan Ismail, said the incident, which occurred around 2 in the morning, did not involve any casualties.
