Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak's mutli-billion ringgit 1MDB trial will not take place today or tomorrow, because ninth key prosecution witness Shahrol Azral Ibrahim Halmi and lead defence counsel Muhammad Shafee Abdullah are on medical leave.
Judge Collin Lawrence Sequerah allowed the postponement application by both lead deputy public prosecutor Gopal Sri Ram and Najib's defence counsel Wan Aizuddin Wan Mohammad.
