Drama King: Raven refuses African-American label►►
It’s been an interesting couple of years for Shia LaBeouf, and the actor is finally opening up to Ellen DeGeneres about everything that went down.
While promoting his upcoming movie Fury, Shia stopped by the talk show to chat all about the “I’m not famous” paper bag incident, his “performance art” installation, getting up on stage at a Cabaret show, and oh yeah, going to jail.
Shia spoke about the semi-breakdown by saying this, quote: “I went through like an existential crisis. Which turned into some explorations. I had some hiccups, some judgment errors.”
But it seems like Shia has really learned a lot from the experiences, and from being incarcerate in particular, saying it was a really scary place, even though he was only there for a day or so. Take a look.
As you might remember, Shia was arrested during a performance of Cabaret in NYC for disruptive behavior, and for then spitting on a cop. Which he also added is a big “no no.” I’m with ya on that one, man.
However, that’s not all Shia talked about as he praised his mother for helping him get through the tough time and talked about his new passion which is running. Also towards the end of the interview, Ellen gifted Shia with a pair of tight leggings – perfect for running – and apparently if he wears them out and gets photographed, Ulta Beauty will donate $10,000 to breast cancer research. Sounds like a good deal to us!
We’re so glad to see that Shia is in a good place right now! He’s super talented, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for him. But first, don’t forget that Fury comes out in theatres on October 17.
