Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali, the wife of former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, said she is very worried following a spike in new Covid-19 infections in the country.
In conjunction with Mother's Day, she said mothers must be extra vigilant in keeping themselves and their children safe.
She also urged people, especially mothers, to get vaccinated.
