The Star honoured its Golden Hearts Award 2018 winners on Thursday and the grand prize winner went to UmieAktif, a nonprofit social enterprise that helps struggling single mothers earn a steady income.
Other winners included Friends of Bukit Gasing, Efinity Social Enterprise, Suka Society, Tuyang Society, Cancerfly Networks, Sia Siew Chin, Dentistry for The Needy, Suri Inspirasi and Masala Wheels.
