A total of 300 students from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) will embark on a community sociology programme to raise awareness among parents and children in the rural areas, on the importance of education. MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said the project had been very successful were the dropout rate has reduced since its launch in 1993.
