Johor exco Abd Latiff Bandi has been remanded for seven days to facilitate investigations into a graft case involving the conversion of bumiputera property titles.
A group of supporters accompanied Abd Latif as he made his way into the magistrate's court.
One supporter hugged him and the two kissed each other's cheeks. Some of the supporters were also tearing.
After Abd Latiff entered the courtroom, his supporters started to pray.
