Former Padang Serai MP N Surendran has quit PKR, citing the party’s failure to represent change and reform as a reason for his departure.

The quit notice came as part of a response from Surendran to PKR information chief Fahmi Fadzil who had told him that PKR and Harapan hold onto principles, but at the same time, also have party discipline.

This comes after the former PKR vice-president openly criticised Pakatan Harapan leaders for being silent on the sedition probe against former Damansara MP Tony Pua.
