Tana and Jake Paul are taking their YouTube shenanigans to a television near you as they announce their brand new show, ‘Bustedness’, so this is your official warning, y’all.
What’s up you guys, it’s Emile Ennis Jr. back here on Clevver News, and boy do we have a lot of news coming at you today.
So usually when it comes to “big announcements”, we tend to get pretty excited around here, but leave it to Tana Paul to really intrigue us.
Tana took to Twitter late Tuesday night to reveal she and Jake have a massive announcement that she’s excited, nervous, basically all of the emotions about.
She wrote, “ok. @jakepaul and i have a MASSIVE announcement for you tomorrow at 2 PM PST (we think). we are so proud of this & truly hope you are too. i didn’t imagine 2019 to end this way.. nervous. excited. thankful. no we’re not getting a divorce. c u tmrw. #JanasBigAnnouncement.”
First off, I love how she had to preface that this news was, in fact, NOT a divorce announcement. But anyway, bottom line: we were officially intrigued.
The announcement went live just yesterday, as the two both took to social media to share the big news. Tana posted a now-deleted photo of the two, with the caption, “the Paul’s.... coming to a television near you. never did i think growing up watching Ridiculousness i’d have an opportunity to be on a spin-off where Jake and I get to be bootleg Rob Dyrdek and Chanel Westcoast hahahaha. never did i think i’d bag two MTV shows- one digital and one linear. thank u for creating this world for me... more to come. see u on tv? #JanasBigAnnouncement”
And considering this isn’t Jake’s first television stint, he just had to mention in his caption that he was QUOTE, “Fired by Disney, Hired by MTV. who’s ready for the Paul’s to have a show? #JanasBigAnnouncement who would’ve thought? not me!!”
Uhhh yeah, us either… The weirdest part about all of this is that both Tana and Jake have since deleted their Instagram posts.
As of yet, the show details are pretty vague, however, Bustedness will reside on MTV, and will follow a similar format as Rob Dyrdek’s Ridiculousness.
The show will also feature YouTuber Mike from Logan Paul’s vlogs, as he previously teased that the three of them would be working on an MTV show back in October.
While he claimed he couldn’t say much about production at the time, there’s a good chance an official trailer for “Busteness” could air at 2 PM Pacific Standard Time TODAY, according to Tana’s post, but that’s still up in the air.
Although the two are so excited to take their craziness to all new heights, speculation surrounding Jake and Tana has yet to stop as fans have accused them both of “faking” their entire relationship for views and clout.
So it didn’t come as much of a surprise (not even to Tana) when fans assumed that this big announcement would center around divorce… and dare I say that having their first child was also in the realm of possibilities because you just never know with these two…
I do have to hand it to Tana for always keeping the fans on their toes, as her second teaser actually did mention children.
She wrote, “We’re not getting divorced. Or married again. I’m not pregnant. Or maybe, it’s all three?”
Tana has also already posted some behind-the-scenes footage on her Instagram story, while MTV films her straighten her hair in silence for an hour straight, taking a snack break, and flaunting some new MTV bling.
Filming for the show has clearly already started as Tana posted another video of a live studio audience surrounding the Bustedness stage.
And while we all know we’re going to be tuning into the show whether we like it or not, many fans are not as thrilled by the concept, which they claim is just a “knock off” of Ridiculousness.
Regardless, we’re happy for the happy couple and their new business venture and can’t wait to see what they cook up.
Air dates have not yet been released, but all those details are likely on the horizon. For right now, I want to hear all your thoughts on Bustedness… do you think it’ll be a ripoff of Ridiculousness? Are you hoping to see some inside scoop into the lives of The Pauls?
