What’s up guys? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and we caught up with Tana Mongeau at the People’s Choice Awards and in typical Tana fashion there was no holding back, and obvs, that’s why we love her.
Tana opened up about everything from her marriage to cancel culture and we’ve got it all.
We started off by asking about her marriage to Jake Paul and his brother Logan’s big fight vs. KSI.
And Tana and Jake were there to support Logan and actually got emotional during the fight, while Logan was just apparently ready for another.
Tana also revealed what she and her hubby Jake’s plans are for the holidays. And you guys, from the sounds of it, despite the naysayers, it seems like these two might actually be legit.
Tana also spilled some tea about her upcoming projects and teased a little about what she is working on, and if you have any guesses you’ve gotta drop them in the comments section.
And while she didn’t reveal too much about what’s next... Tana did talk about how grateful she was to have all of her past work recognized at the PCA’s.
She opened up about how much it means to her to be recognized as a YouTuber.
And we are so here for YouTubers getting the recognition they deserve!
But it hasn’t been the easiest year for a lot of YouTubers, as we all know.
Cancel culture has been taking the internet by storm and Tana, who literally sells merch that says “cancelled,” shared her feelings on the hot topic.
But Tana wasn’t the only YouTuber who talked to us about cancel culture.
Colleen Ballinger also stopped by and talked to us about it. She kind of has a bit of a different take on it from Tana although they both have the same end thoughts on Forgiveness and people growing.
While Tana somewhat sees it as kind of inevitable when Youtubers are put to higher standards than regular people, Colleen is terrified of it.
And we couldn’t agree more. I think a lot of these cancel culture moments are certainly an opportunity for people to learn and grow.
Oh and if you’re wondering how Tana is approaching Uber rides after that recent scary incident, Tana shared this.
That’s right people, be safe for sure! But right now I want to know what you guys think. What are your thoughts on Tana & Colleen’s views when it comes to cancel culture? Is it inevitable or do you fear it when it comes to your favorite YouTubers? Also, after hearing about Jake and Tana’s plans for the holidays, are you sold on them as a legit couple yet? Let me know down in the comments below.
