In the Dewan Rakyat today, Minister of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad, revealed that the government has saved RM5.4 billion this year by excluding the high-income group (T20) from receiving electricity subsidies
On Monday, Prime Minister Anwar told Parliament that the exclusion of this group from the subsidy scheme was to facilitate the granting of subsidies in a more targeted manner.
