Some 250 taxi drivers today gathered at Padang Merbok in Kuala Lumpur to protest against the Land Public Transport Commission (Spad) and urge the government to ban the “Uberteksi” and “Grabcar” applications.
They came from around the Klang Valley and had gathered since 10am, chanting “Hidup teksi” and carrying placards with the mesages “Say no to Uber” and “Mr PM please help us”.
