A total of 2,926 taxi drivers in the Federal Territories have benefited from the more than RM200,000 payment to the Self-Employed Social Security Scheme run by Yayasan Wilayah Persekutuan (YWP).
Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad on Tuesday said YWP had collaborated with both Socso and the Land Public Transport Agency to implement the programme to help taxi drivers contribute to Socso.
