Taylor Swift Fans Think She SHADED Kanye With Bodysuit In "...Ready For It?" Video

Taylor Swift’s music video for “…Ready For It?” hasn’t even been released yet, and fans are clearly ‘ready for’ the hidden easter eggs, carefully-placed messages and most of all, the major shade. As of right now, all we have to go off of is the short teaser Taylor posted to her Instagram earlier this week, so naturally, fans have begun to speculate what the futuristic video actually means.
All week, Swifties have put their best Olivia Benson skills to the test and have begun crafting up their own theories, one of which comes as a message to none other than Kanye West. We all know the history of the Taylor/Kanye feud, which all began in 2009 at the VMA’s – yeah, you know the rest – but after Kanye released his music video for “Famous” that featured many celebs including Taylor completely naked in a bed together, Twitter users are now speculating that the almost naked body-suit Taylor in the “…Ready For It?” teaser is an official dig toward Kanye.
It’s a blink-and-you-might-miss-it moment in the teaser, but Taylor seems to be wearing a nude bodysuit in the futuristic animatronic theme of the video, which many fans think to be a “reclaiming of her body” in an attempt to get back at Kanye for using her body in his video. One fan wrote, “kanye: tries to humiliate taylor by using her naked body without permission. taylor: bitch you thought”
Other tweets have begun flooding in, like this one that the difference between the two videos is QUOTE, “taylor uses her own body as she pleases. kanye uses other people’s naked bodies without their consent for everyone to watch”. Many other fans pointed out the double standard that always seems to find its way back to Taylor – one fan wrote, “Kanye: *Displays image of Taylor’s naked body w/out consent* Society: an artist! Taylor: *Shows off her own body* Society: TRASHY SLUT.”
But with the video dropping tomorrow, don’t worry Swifties, there will be PLENTY of time to analyze the crap out of the video and its hidden meanings – only a few short hours left.
