Taylor Swift Ignores Harry Styles During Awkward L.A Run-In

Awkward moments come a dime a dozen but theres no kind of awkward quite like the kind that occurs when you run into your ex. Especially when you’re Harry Styles and Taylor Swift and the paparazzi document the whole encounter. The run in between these two went down on Wednesday night in the lobby of the Sunset Marquis hotel in Los Angeles. As you can see from the footage obtained by TMZ, Taylor and some friends are gathered in the lobby when they are approached by Harry and his friends. However although Harry and Taylor are in close proximity to one another, they do not speak and Taylor does the whole “I’m doing something really important on my phone right now that inhibits me from acknowledging anything going on around me” move. Classic card to play. There are a few quick awkward glances in one another’s direction before Taylor and begins to walk away with her friend, but then theres that one friend who doesn’t get the memo and lingers causing Taylor to have to hang back. We all have that one friend.
Despite the awkward tension thick enough to cut with a sledgehammer, the unplanned run in was peaceful and eventually the group disperses before Harry throws up a peace sign in Taylor’s friends’ direction. Nice to see that these two can put their history behind them and at least be in the same room together, but holy awkward if only that footage had indoor sound.
