Harry Styles Talks Winning Back Taylor Swift Rumor on Ellen

Harry Styles and the fellas of One Direction have had a whirlwind week promoting their upcoming album, and their latest stop was The Ellen Show.
What’s up guys, you’re back at Clevver News where we’re talking all about their chat on the daytime talk show – and yes, she got Harry to address some Taylor Swift rumors while he was there.
So, just in case you didn’t hear, there were reports kicking up an internet tornado earlier this week that Harry had sent his ex Taylor Swift 1,989 roses to celebrate the release of her new album 1989. And since Ellen is Ellen and can somehow get literally any celebrity to talk about just about anything, the host was able to get us a straight answer about that rumor:
Ellen then brought up the upcoming American Music Awards, and basically asked if it’s awkward running into exes at industry events like that. OK, she maybe didn’t EXACTLY ask the question that way, but we all knew what she meant. 1D’s response? Well, they got into a little banter talking about how hard it is to keep everyone’s names straight when you meet so many people. Good save on Liam’s part there.
Other topics of discussion included Harry’s 20-year attempt to grow a mustache, wearing disguises so they don’t get recognized in public, Zayn’s wedding – which there are still no solid details yet, but Ellen joked about clearing her schedule so she could go -- and of course, Zayn’s absence from The Today Show earlier this week. In addition to their promo time on Ellen, the band was also on Jimmy Kimmel Live where they took, HANDS DOWN, the cutest selfie ever. Liam holding a cat?! Harry holding a puppy?! Yeah, we don’t disagree here. Cutest. Selfie. Ever..
